Have you ever noticed how boring
academic research articles can be?
Have you experienced the agony of
swallowing them for university work despite their unpleasant design?
I did, therefore I came up with a
workable solution and pursued this task
with a problem-solving mindset.
All of the choices here are meant to help
the reader and keep their attention:
subtle cream-shaded paper, more white
space in text, a type pairing that is easily understandable but still has personality and guides eyes, interactive elements like image
and text foldouts,
as well as separate mini-booklets for
references and glossary to organise the
contents in a more accessible way.
